LOVESICK v1.0.1 Patch Notes

We’ve made general improvements and QOL updates to the game:

  • Improved feel and reliability of the bass mini-game

  • Improved feel and reliability of the Wavelength power 

  • Added Haptics to abilities, puzzles, and story events

  • Fixed a soft lock caused when using Spaceship Fuel Canisters 

  • Fixed a soft lock caused during conversations with Dom in the Venue

  • Fixed a soft lock caused by the giant tomato in the Venue

  • Fixed a soft lock caused by sequence breaking in the House

  • Several graphical issues have been resolved:

    • Flickering assets & lights & z-fighting due to optimization

    • Dissolving objects

    • Doors in nothingness disappear now

    • Tommi’s drum throne

    • Young Dom appearing on stage after reloading save

    • Dom Defender puzzle

  • Fixed an issue where puzzle elements could carry over in save files:

    • Dom Hint Spots 

    • Phone tones & ringing recurring after puzzles complete

  • Updated UI & visuals for player guidance:

    • Consistency for A prompts

    • Added additional prox UI 

    • Added bob to yellow guitar pick hints

    • Additional VFX to certain puzzles

  • Improved overall experience of Space Ship area

  • Improved overall experience of Trickster Dom / Reverb CD area

  • Improved overall final boss experience

  • Fixed an issue making a portrait puzzle in the Venue hard to complete 

  • Fixed an issue where Dropped Object and Inventory tutorials would trigger every time players quit the game

  • Added more Motel floor collisions

  • Added a cap to Player height 

  • Resolved a bug where certain Memories could interrupt golden path dialogue

  • Fixed a bug causing security cameras / alarm sounds to persist after the puzzle was completed

  • Locked certain objects in place to prevent accidental interactions after puzzle completion 

  • Adjusted hand poses and removed excessive weight from many several objects to improve feel
